Today the publisher of Iron and the Maiden, Aspen Comics was finally announced.

I’m really excited to have this book come out, I’ve been working on it for about a year now, and it’s probably the most intense book I’ve ever worked on. To top that off, it’s being published by the good folks at Aspen Comics, who are all really good friends of mine so it’s a real bonus! The book is set to drop August 1st, GUARANTEED! The book it self is a whopper with each issues page count being 40pages. 28 pgs of story and a whole lot of development art goodies, so this book will definitely be worth your money. Here’s a pin up of a character named Ange from Aspen comic’s “Shrugged”. The guys at Aspen were cool enough to let me attempt to color this thing and I’m pretty happy with it. Rendering skin is still pretty hard for me but rendering Dev’s face was a lot of fun. Agnes also helped me with the flower pattern, I drew a small patch of it and she did her magic with Illustrator to finish it up.
