These sketches were done at this past weekends Paradise one day comic cons on my ’05 sketchbooks, for Peter a super Death collector. He was getting, 4 different sketches of these characters from the Sandman series so I decided to try and make them all connect. Sorry for the poor photo, it was the best I could do at the con. Although I’m sure I could have taken better pics if I fiddled with the camera some more… oh well…

This was for a fan that waited soooo long to get his trading cards signed. I hope this sketch makes up for it.

I’ll be attending the Calgary Comic Expo this April and will be contributing to an art book they are producing. This is a sketch layout I came up with for my contribution. If time allows me, I’ll probably color it and make a print out of it for the show.

A good friend of mine recently moved to Jersey with her fiancee, so a mutual friend of ours suggested that I should create an art piece for her to take back with her that we would all sign. I’m not particularly good with likeness, so I did my best to try and capture her and cheated by adding a few elements such as her snowboard (I actually googled the design and pasted it in ) and her fave colour which is red be the dominant pallette. I was also trying to go for a sketchy feeel which in all honesty also has a lot to do with my limited coloring skills. The final piece was printed and framed and a whole bunch of us wrote around the frame our “see ya laters”. Take care Trina and hope to see you soon!

This image was done for the Shuster Awards held once a year at the Paradise Toronto Comic Con. It’s part of a larger image which mulitiple artist’s contributed to and will be a poster for the show. Snowbird is actually posing with the Pitt, I’ll find out if I can post the entire poster here. This was also my first attempt at “digitally” inking my pencils. I think it turned out ok.

I loved the Flash when I was in highschool and followed Waid and Ringo’s run on the book. It was during that run that they introduced Impulse as well which was another book I loved when I was younger. Anyways’ here’s a sketch of the Flash, I know the current Flash is Barry Allen, but I’ve always been fond of the Wally West character so lets just say that this is the West version
